Il Fauno
Part 1 of my Guillermo del Toro-inspired collection is Il Fauno from the movie Pan’s Labyrinth. While I distinctly remember the abject terror I felt when Ofelia encountered the Pale Man, the faun has stuck with me for over a decade in an uncanny valley of deeply, deeply unsettling and someone I would also like to have tea with. My stained glass faun is made up of 71 pieces of hand cut glass, including glow-in-the-dark glass eyes that are reactive to sunlight, bright artificial light, and UV light.
Hung from an 8” jack chain , approximately 18” x 10”
